What Can I Expect From My Same-Day Crowns Appointment?
We know that not everyone feels comfortable going to the dentist, much less booking several appointments over the course of a few weeks. Unlike other procedures, CEREC crowns don’t take weeks to create. In just one appointment, we’ll take a 3D digital scan of your mouth and use it to create your new tooth, which is milled from ceramic in the CEREC machine. Once the tooth is ready, we’ll fit it just like a regular crown.
The whole process usually takes no more than 2 hours, including 30-40 minutes for you to spend how you like while the crown is milled. During your appointment, we’ll do everything we can to help you feel comfortable. We’ll answer any questions you might have, and talk you through each step of the same-day crowns process. You’ll leave our office with a brand-new, brighter, and happier smile!
